Last Saturday, the Alliance Française in Accra hosted the FRA!10NITY FESTIVAL, a stunning celebration of the band FRA’s tenth anniversary.
The event brought together a wide lineup of outstanding musicians and a filled arena of fervent fans, and it was a monument to ten years of musical innovation and engaging performances.
With performances by numerous outstanding bands, the evening was a lively display of Ghanaian musical ability.
The night began with a 20-minute, high-energy show by Nativ Afrik, followed by a 15-minute performance by the explosive GG Brass. The Nkyinkyim Band enthralled the audience for 23 minutes, while West Coast Ebusua maintained the momentum with a 20-minute performance. Prince Benjamin gave a moving five-minute performance as well.
One of the evening’s highlights was when PENGOD performed a powerful spoken word piece, which prepared the audience for The Band FRA’s much awaited performance.

The band delivered a memorable 120-minute set that included consecutive hits from their albums, and they did not let fans down. The audience stood up and sang along to every song during their performance.
The Alliance Française Executives’ declaration that they will provide The Band FRA with their facility for free for their upcoming engagement was a noteworthy high point of the evening. The band’s thrilling performance and capacity-filling performance were the direct causes of this vow.
With international tours in 2024 that will take them to the UK and many other countries, the Band FRA has had an amazing year, solidifying their reputation as ambassadors of Ghanaian music and their popularity on a global scale.
