Media personality Afia Pokua known popularly as Vim Lady has taken a dig at President Nana Akuffo Addo over his comments he made during his visit to some parts of the Volta Region to commiserate with the flood victims.

According to Vim Lady, she believes that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo takes it easy when some Ghanaians verbally abuse him.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during his visit to the Volta Region to sympathize with communities affected by the flood, made some comments that a large number of the populace have deemed unnecessary.

In his speech, he indicated that if it had been for votes, he wouldn’t have been there, because the communities involved in the crisis don’t vote for him.

President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo

However, in response to the President’s remarks, Vim Lady expressed her view that it was entirely unnecessary for the President to bring up votes in his speech, as this issue is a crucial development requirement.

“It seems to me that the President relishes the insults hurled at him by the small boys all the time because this was very unnecessary and unfortunate. We should not justify these comments. You’re there because the people need help so why will you make such comments?” she questioned the president.
