According to the Lagos Police Command, they are looking into claims that Tiwa Savage’s colleague Davido made threats against her.
Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the Lagos Police, verified this on Wednesday.
”I can confirm that we received the petition. We have begun an investigation,” he said.
This occurs only a day after Tiwa Savage begged the police to hold Davido accountable in the event that something bad were to happen to her.

She said in her complaint to the Lagos Police Command that Davido had threatened her with assault and “grievous” physical injury.
Tiwa Savage clarified that her affiliation with Davido’s ex-partner and the mother of his daughter, Imade, was the catalyst for the rift in their relationship.
Tiwa further disclosed that friends of theirs had informed her of Davido’s alleged threats and rage, cautioning her to “be careful in Lagos because he was going to f”*k me up.”
She emphasized her right to live her life without fear of harassment and conveyed her displeasure with Davido’s inappropriate messages.
“The actions of Mr David Adeleke are unethical and can be viewed as a direct threat to my rights to life, privacy and dignity of my person,” Tiwa Savage added.
“I, therefore, would like to make this complaint, and to state that in the event that anything untoward or harmful were to happen to me and any member of my family, I will like the Nigerian Police Force to hold MR DAVID ADELEKE responsible.”
