Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known in entertainment as Shatta Wale, and three accomplices are scheduled to return in court today, Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Shatta Wale and three others were detained last month for creating a tale about being shot.
The four accused were held in prison custody for one week before the Accra Circuit Court granted Shatta Wale self-recognizance bail, while the other three were given GH100,000 bail each on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Meanwhile, hiplife singer Samuel Frimpong, commonly known as Medikal, is scheduled to return to court today, Tuesday, 9 November, 2021 to resume his trial after his accused brandishing of a weapon in a social media video.
Medikal was previously remanded into jail detention by an Accra circuit court judge for 5 days on October 22, 2021.
He was subsequently granted bail for GH100,000 with one surety.
Medikal, who is charged with exhibiting weapons and ammunition, has pleaded not guilty to the accusation.
