Popular Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson, has disclosed that she would prefer to marry a man who is a family person.
In an interview that the award-winning actress granted, on Angel Fm, Yvonne Nelson stated that she prefers a man who would have enough time to be in their children’s lives, since she, Yvonne Nelson did not really enjoy that in her upbringing.

She said: “I look out for one thing, does the person want a family? Do they care about kids? Will he love and take care of his children? Will they be in the life of their kids? If I can get that, love is not really the thing for me. So far as he will be in the life of his kid and cater for that child, fine, because I didn’t have that so I want that for my kids”.
She added that some years ago on her 30th birthday, she had a marriage proposal and she rejected it because she felt like she wasn’t ready for that commitment, even though she said that she was dating that person at the time.
She however refused to disclose the identity of the man who proposed marriage to her. She said that she sees marriage as a very sensitive thing and that she wouldn’t want to get married and later lie to him, cheat on him, or divorce him.
Yvonne Nelson is set to premiere her new movie titled, “The Men We Love on February 14th.
