St Valentine’s Day and the Month of February as a whole is a season where much emphasis is placed on the subject of love.
As ATL FM continues with its tradition of celebrating love in its unique programme “LOVE GIFT BOX”, we look at the true meaning of love.
While some people describe the subject as one of the most essential human emotions involving closeness and deep understanding between two people, a love and relationship expert, Rev. Victor Yeboah Gyabaah believes love goes beyond emotions.
In an exclusive interview with ATLFMNEWS, he stated that one of the evidence of true love is genuine care.
“When I’m talking about genuine care, I’m talking about the extent to which people go for you, and that’s evidence of love. It’s somebody who forgets about everything, has their struggles at home, but would decide to leave their stuff, give attention to you, just to help you get through a situation. They are people who themselves are broke and yet your issue touches their hearts so much and they are ready to forgo their issue to help you sort yours out” he said.
But what does St. Valentine’s Day mean to you as a person?
To some residents in Cape Coast, “it’s all about the celebration, showing love to your partner, and going out with them to enjoy this time.”
“It is very positive that people try to show love and appreciation towards one another,” said another.

Participants without WhatsApp lines can also participate by sending their answers to the DM of ATL FM 100.5 MHz or TV UCC Facebook pages.
That is use one word that starts with each letter V–A–L–E–N–T–I–N–E to describe your loved one.
The Deputy Events Committee chairman of ATL FM, Emmanuel Buckman is urging individuals who are 18 years and above to participate to win the amazing packages.
He said, “per our settings, you should be 18 years and above to be a part of this event, whether in courtship, marriage, or relationship you can be a part of this event only that you have to write about your partner using each letter V–A–L–E–N–T–I–N–E then the team will sit and check if you qualify to join the top 5 or not.”
He explains that individuals who have partners outside Cape Coast can also apply and if they win then their partners will be contacted to drive to Cape Coast to enjoy the exciting packages with them.
