Rosemond Brown, also identified as Akuapem Poloo, a Ghanaian actress and social media star, was found guilty by an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Mrs. Christiana Cann.
This occurred after she entered a guilty plea in court today, April 14, 2021, for sharing lewd images of herself and her seven-year-old son to social media in June of last year.
As a result, she has been remanded in detention.
Her sentencing has been postponed to Friday, April 16, 2021.
This is to allow her to take a paternity test as required by statute for women who have pled guilty in court.
She pled not guilty when she was arraigned in November of last year, but she amended her plea to guilty today in sentencing.

She pled guilty on all three counts and was found guilty by the judge based on her own admissions.
Rosemond was charged with indecent content dissemination and two charges of sexual abuse.
Background
Rosemond marked her son’s seventh birthday on June 30, 2020, by taking nude photos of her son, who was still half-naked, and posting them on her Instagram profile, which went viral.
The photos drew criticism, with some accusing her of compromising the reputation of her seven-year-old boy.
Mr. Bright K. Appiah, the Director of Child Rights International Ghana, petitioned the Director-General CID, and the case was transferred to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU), according to the indictment.
Rosemond was convicted, according to the prosecutors, and confessed to sharing the naked photo of her son unwittingly in her warning declaration.
“I am nude in front of you because this is how naked I was giving birth to you, so in case you see me lying anywhere, don’t pass me by but see me as your mother who brought you to life,” the caption added.
Rosemond allegedly shared the photos on social media on purpose, according to the prosecutors.
