John Dumelo, a well-known actor and politician in Ghana, has added another achievement to his academic resume by announcing with pride that he has graduated from the University of Ghana with a master’s degree in law with a focus on natural resources.
On Friday, January 26, 2024, the Blood Vessel actor became one of thousands of graduates. He announced the news of his most recent academic accomplishment to his admirers on social media.
“I graduated with a Masters Degree in Law (Natural Resources) from the University of Ghana law school today,” he said in an expression of thanks. All glory to God!
This is the silver screen star’s third master’s degree.

His second master’s degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) was celebrated in 2022.
John Dumelo is well-known for his versatility on screen and has starred in a number of films, including Chelsea, Adam’s Apple, Baby Thief, Heart of Men, 4 Play, The Game, and Northern Affair.
In the impending 2024 elections, he is also running as the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
