The 8 persons killed in the military helicopter crash that occurred on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, have been eulogized by their families, state institutions, and the President in a moving and heartfelt tribute.
All eight (8) victims of the crash have been honoured with a befitting state burial at the forecourt of the State House. The two Muslims were earlier buried on August 10, 2025, according to Muslim traditions.
The remaining six were buried on Saturday August 15, 2025 at the Burma Camp Military Cemetery.
