One lucky fan’s commitment to Kwabena Kwabena has produced an unexpected turn of events as excitement grows for the Vitamilk Love Night at the Grand Arena, where artists Kwabena Kwabena and Becca are the headline acts tonight.
A University of Professional Studies (UPSA) Accra student named Jennifer Christodia Kudiabor was one of the winners of the “Graphic Showbiz Sing a Song” challenge, which offered a ticket to the performance tonight. Jennifer revealed in a touching conversation how much she admires Kwabena Kwabena and how she has been a fan of his since she was a young child.
But Jennifer and Kwabena Kwabena’s deep love turned out to be a source of conflict in their relationship. She revealed that her boyfriend broke up with her because he thought her unshakable passion and admiration for the artist overwhelmed him.
A photo frame of Kwabena Kwabena, his image as her phone’s wallpaper, and picture displays on her social network accounts are the focal points of Jennifer’s room.
Every morning, she posts the hit song “Bue Kwan” by Kwabena Kwabena on her WhatsApp status and social media platforms.
It’s my favorite gospel music, she says, and it provides her motivation for the day.

Jennifer’s boyfriend may have ended the relationship because he felt unhappy in a relationship where he wasn’t liked and adored as much as someone he had never met.
Reflecting on the situation, this is what Jennifer had to say.”My boyfriend broke up with me because of the love I have for Kwabena Kwabena. I have his picture frame in my room, I have his picture as my wallpaper, and I even know everything about him. It’s more like he’s family to me because he has a special place in my heart. My admiration for him is so intense that my boyfriend got fed up and broke up with me.
” My family is equally worried about it. They think it’s not normal but I just love him. In my eyes, he can do no wrong so anytime I read some bad news about him, I just brush it aside. I just love Kwabena Kwabena and I don’t know how I can control myself seeing him perform live in my presence. The mention of his name just gets me emotional,” she said.
Jennifer acknowledged her love for Becca as well, but she added that her love for Kwabena Kwabena is unfathomable.
Jennifer’s story demonstrates the deep effect musicians can have on their followers, highlighting the bond that is created via music and the extent to which fans are willing to go in order to show their devotion.
