The top six players in the Ryder Cup standings after this week will secure automatic spots for the September 26–28 clash with Europe in Farmingdale, New York. Scottie Scheffler, J.J. Spaun, and Xander Schauffele have already locked in their places. Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, and Ben Griffin sit ahead of Bradley, meaning that if he falls short of the top six, he could use one of six captain’s picks on himself after the Tour Championship. Bradley insists his focus remains on performance, saying his goal is to play well regardless of his captaincy status.
