Speaking exclusively to ATL FM NEWS on the awards, Co-Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Heartbeat Homeopathic Clinic, Dr. Mrs. Priscilla Ackah said the award is a testament to the kind of treatment offered at the facility.
She was also hopeful the awards would propel Heartbeat Homeopathic Clinic to greater heights in healthcare delivery.
According to her, Heartbeat Homeopathy is an integrated health system that emphasizes treating patients for all chronic problems adding that what comes first is an inclusive approach.
She maintains that doctors at Heartbeat Homeopathic clinic consider the disease pattern, cause, symptom, and condition before proffering holistic treatment.
She however said the homeopathic practice is different from the practice of traditional medicine
“Homeopathy is not just the mere natural remedy given. You should know the human system. It’s a full program on its own we actually go through, as people go through their medical studies. We also undergo rigorous training to even achieve that homeopath status. And the mere fact you are selling natural remedies doesn’t make you a homeopath. Because we homeopaths don’t use crude substances. It’s not only plant-based we extract our remedies from, we could extract it from even snakes’ minerals, plants, and substances we believe have healing abilities. And based on how our remedies are, based on how it is. It’s only when you are a homeopath that you can actually make a homeopathic remedy.”
