The National Service Authority (NSA) has released 121,754 PIN codes for prospective National Service Personnel under the General Enrolment category for the 2026/2027 National Service Year.
The release was made on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, and covers eligible graduates from accredited tertiary institutions across the country.
According to the NSA, the release of the PIN codes marks the commencement of the registration process for eligible graduates who are required to undertake national service in accordance with the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119).
The Authority said the enrolment process followed rigorous validation and verification exercises conducted in collaboration with relevant regulatory institutions.
The measures, according to the NSA, are aimed at ensuring that only eligible graduates from accredited tertiary institutions are mobilized for national service, while eliminating duplicate, inflated and irregular submissions.
The press release indicates that tertiary institutions submitted a total of 144,023 personnel for consideration.
Out of this number, 122,712 personnel were approved, with 121,754 unique persons having their records created. The Authority also indicated that 958 approved personnel were not promoted.
A further 21,311 personnel were rejected and are pending further identity verification.
The NSA also urged tertiary institutions whose accreditation status remains unresolved to engage the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) to regularise their status.
The Authority said it will continue to process eligible graduates from such institutions upon receiving confirmation of their accreditation from GTEC.
The release of the PIN codes therefore marks the beginning of the enrolment process for eligible graduates ahead of the 2026/2027 National Service Year.
