National Service Authority releases first batch of postings for 2025/2026 service year

The National Service Authority has released the first batch of postings for the 2025/2026 service year.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, 28^th October, 2025, the Authority stated that 85,159 personnel drawn from accredited tertiary institutions had been posted to private and public institutions for their mandatory one-year service period.

The Authority revealed that the figure excludes personnel who have resolved or pending data mis-match issues, as well as teachers, nurses, midwives and personnel from other equally vital categories.

“All personnel under the data mis-match category are to note that their placement forms part of the yet-to-be-released batch.”, the statement added.

The National Service Authority also provided a breakdown of deployment figures. These include:

• 150,937 students uploaded
• 91,339 total paid pin codes
• 85,459 personnel verified with Ghana card
• 85,159 personnel who have completed registration

The statement directed prospective personnel to:

1. Check placement on the Authority’s official website www.gnsa.gov.gh
2. Print their appointment letters and get endorsement from Line Managers or designated offices at their places of postings
3. Book appointments for online registration
4. Visit designated Regional Validation and Registration Centres with their endorsed appointment letters and Ghana Card to complete the process

The Regional Validation and Registration will begin on Wednesday, 29^th October, 2025 and end on Friday, 21^st November, 2025.

“Management wishes to remind all personnel to refrain from engaging the services of scam syndicates for changes in postings and other related issues. The Authority does not engage the services of these so-called ‘middlemen’ in its deployment exercise. Given the above, personnel are highly entreated to accept their postings.”, the statement cautioned.

The statement reiterated that the 2025/2026 national service year will officially begin on Monday, 3^rd November, 2025.
