Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has raised serious allegations against officials from the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), claiming they stormed his residence with firearms and seized his Lamborghini.
In a fiery Facebook post on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Shatta Wale accused Raymond Archer, the Executive Director of EOCO, of personally leading the operation.
According to Shatta Wale’s account, the EOCO team arrived at his home heavily armed, though he did not specify the exact time or reason for their visit.
The musician denounced the incident as intimidation and questioned the motives behind what he described as an abuse of power. “EOCO boss, the President of Ghana didn’t put you in that office to come and humiliate the citizens of this country. Remember God no sleep,” he remarked in his post.
Known for his outspoken nature, Shatta Wale also warned of potential political repercussions, directly addressing Raymond Archer: “Raymond Archer EOCO Boss, Ibe you go make NDC go out of power next 4yrs. Bringing guns to my house was uncalled for.”

Further reactions from Shatta Wale on TikTok reveals that he has no link with any said Kwabena Amuah. According to Shatta Wale, he alleged foul play by the EOCO Boss, Raymond Archer. He indicated that because he didn’t have a hold on him, Mr. Archer is trying to set him up.
“So let me just give you guys a clue. So because Raymond Archer saw that he couldn’t tie me with the Aduboahen case, now he is trying to find a problem for me that I know Kwabena”.
The Ayoo hitmaker refuted claims that he has no knowledge of the said Kwabena, but he is a “third party to the car”.
“I am a third party to the car. The guy in question is not even in Ghana. It is said that he has been arrested long time. I am even a third party owner to that car. I learnt the car was bought by somebody which was later resold to another person because he he said he doesn’t want, but he claimed he needed some money to sort out some issues so he sold it and I bought it. So I am the third person to buy it”
