In a strong rebuttal, the hitmaker of “Second Sermon” and “Soja” called the claims “baseless and deeply insulting,” asserting that his success stems from genuine hard work and artistic authenticity.
Currently enjoying widespread acclaim with his sophomore album Iron Boy, Black Sherif’s influence in the global music scene continues to rise. Six songs from Iron Boy occupy the top six spots on both Boomplay and Apple Music Ghana’s Top 100 charts. The album has also made a notable impact internationally, debuting at number six on Spotify UK’s Top Debut Albums and entering the Billboard World Albums Chart at number 10.
Since its release, Iron Boy has amassed over 80 million streams on Audiomack. Despite these achievements, some critics have suggested that Black Sherif’s swift ascent may be attributable to artificial methods.
