2025 Grammy Awards: A night of victory, tributes, and remarkable performances featuring Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, and the biggest names in music
The biggest night in music history, the 2025 Grammy Awards, officially began on Sunday, February 2, 2025. The event was held at the legendary Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles and was hosted by the always delightful Trevor Noah for the sixth year in a row. The Recording Academy’s annual event honored 2024’s breakout talents, number-one singles, and musicians who dominated playlists in the previous year.
At this year’s presentation, Kendrick Lamar won all of his nominated categories, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year for his impactful song Not Like Us, while Beyoncé secured the coveted Album of the Year trophy for Cowboy Carter.
But the 2025 Grammys were about more than just honoring music. The evening also honored the courageous first responders who put their lives in danger after last month’s deadly wildfires in Los Angeles. It also generated money for the thousands of Southern Californians who were forced to relocate due to severe weather that destroyed entire neighborhoods.
