President John Mahama is set to begin his nationwide Thank You tour on Friday to express gratitude to citizens for their support in the 2024 elections.
As part of the planned tour, he will make his first stop in the Volta Region where he will be greeted with a grand durbar, featuring chiefs, queen mothers, opinion leaders, religious leaders, members of various labour unions, and key representatives from the informal sector.
A statement issued from the presidency said the event is designed to strengthen the connection between the President and the citizenry, while also recognizing their contributions to the nation.
