President John Mahama has appointed Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Sammy Gyamfi as the Acting Manager Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC).
As part as his role, he is to set up the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), an establishment aimed at economic revitalization and ensuring the sustainable management and marketing of Ghana’s gold resources for the benefit of its citizens.
The GoldBod is one of the key promises in the NDC 2024 manifesto as well as on of the top priorities of the Mahama Administration that will be under the Minister of Finance.
