The President therefore instructed the Ministry to issue a public notice to all holders of these passports to return the documents for verification and re-issuance where applicable.
A deadline date of January 24, 2025 has been set for compliance.
A statement issued by the Secretary to the President, Callistus Mahama, Ph.D indicated that this recall forms part of the Government’s commitment to ensuring adherence to national and international standards for the administration of official travel documents.
