The vetting process for the first batch of ministerial nominees put forward by President John Mahama will commence today, Monday, January 13.
The vetting process will involve a comprehensive review of each nominee’s qualifications and suitability for their respective positions, ensuring that only the most qualified individuals are selected to serve in the new administration.
This comes after the official approval by Parliament’s Appointments Committee on January 9, which is responsible for vetting of these government’s ministerial appointees.
Among the first nominees to undergo the vetting process are Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, the Member of Parliament for Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam and current Majority Leader, nominated as Minister-designate for Finance, John Abdulai Jinapor, nominated as Minister-designate for Energy, and Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, proposed as Attorney-General and Minister of Justice-designate.
