Independent Presidential Candidate and Leader of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar, has named Dr. Maryam Issaka Kriese as his running mate.
The announcement was made during a press conference in Kumasi, where Nana Bediako praised Dr. Kriese’s extensive experience and qualifications, describing her as the ideal partner to help lead the nation toward prosperity.
Dr. Kriese, a Senior Manager at Ghana’s Securities and Exchange Commission, has played a pivotal role in shaping the country’s financial landscape.
She has significantly contributed to the sector’s work in overseeing investments, licensing capital market operators, and crafting key regulations, she has significantly contributed to the sector’s growth.
Nana Bediako also emphasized her leadership in educating investors and training market operators, positioning her as a champion of financial empowerment in Ghana.
“As Senior Manager at the Securities & Exchange Commission, Ghana, she helped shape the nation’s financial landscape through strategic oversight of investments, licensing of capital market operators, and developing critical regulations. Her role in training market operators and educating investors places her at the forefront of financial empowerment,” he said.
Dr. Issaka Kriese, after her unveiling conveyed her dedication to serve and ensure a better Ghana.
She emphasized that the New Force’s vision is rooted in hope, leadership, and delivering tangible results rather than empty promises.
