On October 1, 2024, the 43-year-old comic Funny Face was surprised with a cake by Asamoah Gyan, the former captain of the Black Stars.
Asamoah Gyan has consistently supported Funny Face in all facets of his life and has previously showed his affection for the actor with thoughtful gestures.
The two personalities get very well together. The senior brother of the former football player, Baffour Gyan, who formerly competed for the national men’s football team, is seen giving Funny Face the cake in a video that he released.

A statement that said as much was attached to the video “Somebody help me wish the man on a mission @funnyfacegh a very big happy birthday. We really fought a good fight behind the scenes, and here we are now. Funny Face thanked Asamoah Gyan for sharing his birthday with him after accepting the cake.
