After a startling occurrence during his performance, Ghanaian musician Black Sherif departed the University of Mines and Technology (UMAT) event grounds in Tarkwa.
According to a widely shared social media video, the musician was on stage when two of his fans were tragically electrocuted as they were enjoying his performance.
There is currently no known cause for the electrocution.

When Black Sherif watched the situation and became alarmed by what he saw, he abruptly ended his performance and departed the venue, complaining about the security and preparation at the event site.
Black Sherif was seen leaving the venue early in a video that went viral, even though fans and organizers pleaded with him to carry on with his performance.
Black Sheif and his group have not yet formally commented on the situation. The event’s organizers have not yet provided a statement on the subject.
Supporters of Black Sherif’s action on social media have emphasized that human life is more important than other considerations. Unverified rumors state that while one of the electrocuted victims is critically injured, the other has recovered.
