In the approaching 2024 presidential election, actor Kofi Adu, also known as Agya Koo, has asked Ghanaians to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Agya Koo praised Akufo-Addo’s achievements but underlined the need to keep the NPP in the leadership position.
He begged the young people to back Dr. Bawumia instead of letting other political parties sway them in order to secure a better future.

“Wherever I go, both the young and old say they have not forgotten him. Considering how President Akufo-Addo and his government have provided for the nation, especially with developmental projects, we should be grateful. I urge the youth not to be deceived by sweet talk. For the future of Ghana and our children, I plead with you to vote for the NPP,”Agya Koo said on Saturday, August 17, at an NPP campaign rally in Takoradi.
On December 7, 2024, general elections are set to take place. The candidates running against Dr. Bawumia include National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama and others from different political parties.
