Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy has stated that he still has a long way to go in the music business, even with his larger accomplishments.
He believes he has fifty more years to continue in the music business.
“I am yet to work with Appietus in my career, so I have fifty more years to go. Nothing happen. If I am here to work with Appietus, you can just imagine,” he remarked this while thanking song producers for their contributions, including Appietus, Mix Master Garzy, and Fredima, during the Telecel Ghana song Awards on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
The annual Ghana Music Awards producers, Charterhouse Ghana, hosted the celebration, which drew together key figures from Ghana’s creative industry.
Record producers, artists, representatives of music rights and copyright groups, and creative enterprises were present.
At the ceremony, Stonebwoy received his official TGMA trophies for his amazing performance.
“I humbly just want to say thank you guys [industry] so much for supporting the Ghana Music Awards,” the well-known performer remarked as she went up on stage to accept the honors.

“This is the only one we have. For me, if I have to work harder 100 times and win what is deserved 100 times, I think it’s in the right way for Ghana music.”
Stonebwoy won seven categories at the Silver Jubilee Telecel Ghana Music Awards, which took place in Accra, Ghana on June 1, 2024. He was recognized as the winner in Best Album/EP, Best International Collaboration, Record of the Year, Best Songwriter, Best Collaboration, and, most importantly, Artiste of the Year. Stonebwoy has won the Telecel Ghana Music Awards for a record eight times.
After the great Ofori Amponsah’s noteworthy accomplishment in 2006, Stonebwoy is now the second most-awarded musician in a single night since the scheme’s inception thanks to these historic triumphs at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
Stonebwoy’s latest single, “Your Body,” is a stunning work of art that embraces African beauty, self-acceptance, and body positivity.
“Your Body” explores a sensuous and playful feel by fusing pop, R&B, and reggae rhythms with Stonebwoy’s skillful vocal and rapping mixing.
The track is a taster for Stonebwoy’s much awaited sixth studio album, which will be out later this year.
