Felicity Asantewaa, a young woman from Ghana, holds the record for the most cars washed by one person in eight hours.
Felicity beat the previous record with five automobiles and completed sixty car washes in eight hours to earn this recognition.
Felicity’s achievement was verified by the Guinness World Record (GWR) in a statement posted on their website.
“The most cars washed in eight hours by an individual is 60 and was achieved by Felicity Asantewaa (Ghana) in Accra, Ghana, on 9 March 2024,” GWR said on its website.
Ready to show her support for gender equality and the empowerment of young women in Ghana, Felicity set out to break the record on March 9, 2024, at the East Legon Go Go wash location in Accra.
Huge crowds of people were drawn to her because of her dedication, and they encouraged her as she attempted the record.
Felicity announced her endeavor on Instagram, stating that her passion for automobiles encouraged her to encourage young guys to take up the task of vehicle washing as well.

“I love cars and I also know a lot of car brands. So, when I thought of empowering young women and promoting Ghana, I chose what I love to do to have an impact in the young women’s world,” Felicity said.
She continued: “I have observed that the car washing job has been dominated by males in Ghana. However, I believe females can equally do this work perfectly.”
