Information of Maurice Ampaw’s immediate second marriage following the death of his wife in 2021 has been made public by the Ghanaian lawyer.
After Mrs. Evelyn Ampaw passed away in February of 2021, the lawyer remarried in 2022.
In a July 6 interview with media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, Maurice Ampaw said that he has known his second wife for over seven years as a close friend.
“We had been friends for more than 7 years; she was based in Kumasi. So anytime I went to Kumasi, she took care of me,” he said on The Delay Show.
Ampaw revealed that he stayed acquainted with this woman in Offinso even though he had a wife at home and, out of courtesy, didn’t tell his late wife about it.
He replied, “No, I didn’t tell her, I respected her.”
Maurice Ampaw went on to say that he kept his best friend and their time together a secret from his wife.
Ampaw admitted in the interview that he appreciated his friend’s company and the meals she made for him when he was at her Kumasi home, as well as spending peaceful hours there.

Ampaw admitted as much when Delay pressed him about whether or if this friend had also “gingered” him, stating, “As for the “gingering,” it was just once.”
In addition, he revealed that throughout the time his first wife was still living, he went on dates, shared a bed, and engaged in other activities with his best buddy.
