The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has called a statewide strike, beginning Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
The group is disappointed that the government has yet to implement the proposed new compensation structure agreed by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, despite a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) being signed one and a half years ago.
Addressing the media, CLOGSAG’s Executive Secretary, Isaac Bampoe Addo, said all of its members should follow the instruction until the government satisfies their requests.
