Prominent Kumawood actress Mercy Asiedu has publicly endorsed National Democratic Congress flagbearer John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming presidential contest.
Speaking at a Mahama-sponsored event to solicit input from the creative community, Mercy Asiedu highlighted the influence that John Mahama had while serving as the last President on the creative sector.
Among these were automobiles donated to prominent members of the industry, which she feels greatly aided their professional pursuits.
She stated that Mahama’s assistance has helped numerous entertainers grow their businesses and she was confident that the industry will gain even more from Mahama’s comeback to power.
She asked her supporters and colleagues to vote in the next elections with Mahama’s prior contributions in mind.
“It is through his good ways that some people in the creative arts industry felt good. Some who had no cars got cars, so I beg you, let’s rally support for Mahama. He will do it because he has done it before,” Mercy Asiedu urged in the video below.
