The 13th anniversary of Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, his breakthrough album “Superstar,” was celebrated by the Nigerian Afrobeats sensation.
Worldwide hits including “Don’t Dull,” “Pakuromo,” and “Holla AT Your Boy” were included in the June 12, 2012, release of “Superstar,” which was distributed by Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).
The album was a massive hit and the catalyst for Wizkid’s rise to fame.
Wizkid thanked God in a poignant post on X on Wednesday, June 13, for the blessings he has received over the 13 years since the release of his first album.
He praised his transformation from a budding artist to a worldwide phenomenon, branding himself as a “real-life winner” and a “millionaire in every currency”.

Wizkid also expressed gratitude for his family’s and his team’s support over the past 13 years.
Wizkid emphasized the value of leading an honest life and staying away from misleading lifestyles as he urged his followers to aim for true achievement.
He wrote: “13 yrs since superstar! First album! Thankful for all God’s blessings. Healthy family! Blessed life! Love God.
“Millionaires in every currency! Real-life winners! Make sure you win in real life, do not deceive yourself! U deserve it.”
From his first album to starting his own record company, Starboy Entertainment, in 2014, Wizkid’s journey has been incredible.
He has broken barriers in the music industry, won multiple honors, and worked with artists from over the world.
