Osuman Idrees, a Ghanaian actor best known for his role as Yogot in the hit comedy series Junka Town, passed away.
According to reports, the actor passed away early on Tuesday, June 11. His death’s cause is still unknown.
On Tuesday, June 11, Judge Abeka, Yogot’s co-star in the Junka Town series, revealed the depressing news in an interview with sister station Connect FM in Takoradi.
He claimed that Yogot appeared extremely robust and healthy and never displayed any symptoms of illness, only complaining of a boil close to his jaw.
“He wasn’t seriously ill, it was a minor sickness. He had a normal boil and it wasn’t as if he had been sick for a long time,” he said.

Highlife musician Nero X also posted on his Facebook page the news of Yogot’s passing.
Yogot starred in the comedy series Junka Town, which was filmed in Takoradi, Western Region, in Effiakuma. Too Much and Atemuda were among the excellent actors the show included.
