Well-known Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah better known as Lil Win has opened up about his near-death experience following his Saturday, May 25, vehicle accident, which occurred only a few hours before the premiere of his film.
In his first public statement about the incident, the actor praised God for saving his life and delivering him from the dangerous situation.
He remarked that surviving the accident just required the favor of God. Lil Win was seen with white bandages covering his right hand and forehead, suggesting that the accident had injured him.
The actor noted that he was advised not to attend his movie premiere due to his condition following the accident, but he managed to show up at the premiere despite all odds after receiving treatment at the hospital.
“I thank the Lord for what he has done for me. What the Lord has done for me goes beyond human understanding. I know that once I am still alive, my time to die is not yet up. I thank you all for making it here and may God bless you all.”
Lil Win stated that he made his way to the event once he felt better since he could not afford to disregard the efforts of those who made it, such as local chiefs and other notable figures.

On Saturday afternoon, Lil Win was driving to his movie debut in Kumasi when he got into an automobile accident near Amakom in Kumasi.
The incident occurred on May 25, a Saturday. Videos that have gone viral on the internet show the actor being carried by about five men from the driver’s seat of his Mercedes to another car, with the car’s bonnet badly damaged.
For medical attention, he was sent to the hospital.
