Real Warri Pikin, a Nigerian comedian and actress, asserted that only those who choose to play the “fool” and make all the sacrifices manage to stay married.
She said that she didn’t understand why individuals could easily forgive those who had offended them but couldn’t tolerate each other in a married relationship. She also said that in a marriage, both partners must work together to make things work rather than depending on one person to do it.
“Marriage na study working, the man will work, the woman will work, you must have that mentality of making it work out not ready to walk out. Your papa, pikin, brother do you something you forgive, but when it’s your husband, I don’t know why with a spouse, I cannot take it.
“That’s how I’m wired. Only fools stay married, Yes, I’m a fool. The question Do you know who I am caused a lot of problems?”
The actress, who recently celebrated 11 years of marriage this year stated, “Marriage is sweet, marriage is difficult, marriage is exhausting, marriage is beautiful which makes it all part of life.”
Talking to Doreen Avio about her views on marriage and advice for young people considering marriage, she shared how she and her husband have managed to set aside their disparate upbringings and concentrate on making their marriage work for them, which she claimed has made submission simple.
“Sometimes, my husband (Ikechukwu) dey annoy me. His background and mine are two different ones, we have come together for the past 11 years. We learn, unlearn and relearn.

“Every day I am learning Ikechuku, he is learning me and it makes submission easy because he is the leader.”
Anita, who is well-known to her loved ones, also talked about how her husband supported her through everything. She said that he never emotionally blackmailed her and that she was thin before getting married, gained weight after having a child, and is now tiny once more.
According to her, a guy who leads and does not exert control in a marriage, listens to his spouse, and recognizes that the marriage is a collaboration, creates an appealing and smooth union.
In order to safeguard and continuously strengthen their marriage, she also counseled couples to place God at the center of their union.
To assist her colleague comedian Parrot Mouth’s “Laugh it off” comedy show at Association International School, Real Warri Pikin traveled to Ghana.
She shared the stage with comedians such as DKB, Akpororo, Pararan, Khemikal, and others.
