He also explained that it is a very common phenomenon for people to regard him as an underground artist, but the most important thing is to know one’s worth and see things through the person’s own lens and not that of those who perceive you as such.
“It’s common for others to label you as an underground artist, but internally, as an artist, you must recognize your own significance beyond such labels”.
He also added that the winning mindset and A list artiste mindset has been ingrained him, hence he is not worried about which category he is placed under.
He emphasized, “This mindset has been ingrained in me for quite some time, so whether people categorize me as underground or emerging is their perspective, but personally, I don’t identify with those terms”.
Xlimkid also believes there’s no artiste superior to him and that’s why popular opinion doesn’t define him and his abilities.
No artist holds superiority over me; I see myself as a leader and a figure of prominence. Therefore, my growth and stature aren’t solely determined by popular opinion or awards like TGMA; they can be gauged through various metrics,” he concluded.
