Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum (Singathon), a Guinness World Record (GWR) contender and tourism ambassador, paid George Dampare, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), a courtesy call at the Police Headquarters in Accra recently.
Afua Asantewaa conveyed her sincere appreciation to the police chief during the visit for the important assistance she received during her attempt to break the record at Akwaaba Village in Accra.
“My team and I are immensely grateful for the tremendous support during the attempt. The substantial police presence at the venue played a crucial role in maintaining peace,” she said.
“We are here today to express our gratitude, and if I decide to attempt another record, we won’t hesitate to seek your blessings and support again. Thank you,” she added.

Afua Asantewaa received praise from the IGP for her tenacity and fortitude. If she chooses to go for another record attempt, he promised her that the police will continue to back her.
