In order to grieve and recover, the family of the late gospel singer Kofi Owusu Dua-Anto, better known by his stage name KODA, humbly requests privacy.
According to a statement posted today on www.kodasmedia.com, a new website that offers details on his memorial and funeral plans, they were saddened and shocked by the astute singer’s unexpected departure.
The family humbly asked for solitude “during this profoundly challenging time to heal and mourn as a family,” despite appreciating the outpouring of love and sympathies from all over the world. They were still processing the shock and grief of the enormous loss, according to the statement.
On Sunday, April 21, KODA passed away following a brief illness.
