Rapper Medikal has made it known that he is no longer married to actress and businesswoman Fella Makafui by publicly announcing their split.
On Saturday, March 30, Medikal made it clear on Twitter that Fella Makafui is now the mother of his kid and that they are presently sharing custody of their daughter, Island Frimpong.
The rapper responded to a social media user’s post referring to Fella Makafui as Medikal’s wife with a tweet.
“Fella is no longer my wife; she is the mother of my child,” tweeted Medikal. Now that we are co-parenting, everything is running smoothly.
Social media users have been agitated by this news, with many expressing shock at the couple’s breakup.
Although none of them officially acknowledged it at the time, there were rumors of their breakup circulating last year.

On Instagram, Fella Makafui and Medikal have both been seen to unfollow one another, and Fella Makafui has changed her username to remove the title “Mrs. Frimpong.”
Additionally, it appears from Medikal’s most recent social media post that Fella Makafui has blocked him.
In an earlier statement, Medikal raised the idea of a divorce, saying he had done everything he could and that a creative person like himself would not be a good fit for marriage.
In 2020, the pair celebrated a sumptuous nuptial ceremony and welcomed their daughter, Island Frimpong, who will turn four in August.
