The late Mark Owen Woyongo, a former Interior Minister during the NDC administration, will be laid to rest from Thursday, April 11 to Sunday, April 14, 2024.
A pre-burial mass will be held on April 11, 2024, at 9 am at the Christ the King Church in Accra, followed by a wake-keeping and vigil on April 12th at the Woyongo Family House in Navrongo.
The funeral mass will take place on April 13th at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Minor Basilica in Navrongo, with a Thanksgiving mass on April 14th at the Catholic Church in Navrongo.

The family officially informed Interior Minister Henry Quartey of Mr. Woyongo’s passing on Monday.
The late Minister, who also served as an MP for Navrongo Central, passed away on January 17, 2024, after a period of illness.
George Anuseh, speaking on behalf of the family during the meeting, expressed gratitude and extended an invitation to the Ministry for the funeral arrangements.
Minister Quartey praised the late Woyongo for his contributions to the nation’s security and intelligence, assuring the family of the Ministry’s assistance in giving him a dignified farewell.
