The difficulties faced by comedian Funny Face, according to Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale, are indicative of the flaws in the creative sector.

The dancehall artist revealed on Facebook that the comedian’s troubles extend beyond issues stemming from his failed romances.

“The creative arts industry must break the cycle of self-punishment through depression and frustration. It’s time to speak up and seek help. What’s happening to Funny Face isn’t solely a marital issue; it’s indicative of deeper systemic challenges within our creative industries. Let’s acknowledge the dysfunction in our structures and stop pretending everything is fine. Speak up, it’s time for change!! Sorry my brother funny face ,May God see you thru [sic],” he wrote on Facebook.

On Sunday, March 24, 2024, near Kasoa in the Central Region, actor Funny Face was engaged in a car accident.

Witnesses gathered around the actor on Sunday night in videos that went viral on social media.

One witness claimed that as soon as he parked his car, he heard a crash.

The motorist reported that he turned and saw Funny Face’s vehicle collide with a man riding a motorcycle and a mother carrying two children.

The injured had been transported to the hospital, the eyewitness continued.

Funny Face has been griping for a few weeks now about his ex-girlfriend’s refusal to give him access to his three kids.

The comedian is thought to be unstable due to his past relationship with his ex-girlfriend, which he claims has kept him from seeing his kids for the past four years. The comic formerly had depression and sought treatment for it.

Just before the accident, he had said in one of his recent outbursts that he was moving on with his life abroad so that he wouldn’t have to think about his situation.
