Ghanaian entertainer, 39_forty, has laid to rest all rumors concerning his snub from colleague, Kyekyeku who produced his first film, “1957”.
Kyekyeku premiered his first-ever self-produced film, “1957,” at the SG Mall on March 6, 2024 and 39_forty was conspicuously missing from the cast of characters.
The film, advocating tribal tolerance, featured a plethora of well-known personalities in its cast, including their mentor Ackabenezzer, also known as Ras Nene, Wofa Shifo, Papa Kumasi, Bernice Asare, Kalsome Sinare, Safia Haroun, Slyvester Agyapong, and numerous others.

Nonetheless, the absence of one particular face, 39_forty, left many viewers slightly unsettled after watching the movie.
In an interview with Papa Jay of Poleeno Multimedia, the “Collabo” crooner revealed that even though he was not seen on the screens as a part of the movie, he played a great role as a coordinator on the set to make the shooting of the movie a success.
39_forty explained that initially, he was slated to appear on screen, but upon arriving on set, it became apparent that additional support was required from the crew behind the scenes.
Consequently, he was tasked with coordinating the shooting to ensure smooth operations. He asserted confidently that any perceived tension between himself and Kyekyeku was unfounded.
