Akufo-Addo makes major changes in his Administration

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made significant changes to the executive, resulting in the exit of several Ministers and Deputy Ministers from their respective offices.

This was contained in a statement dated February 14th, 2024 which conveyed President Akufo Addo’s gratitude to the outgoing Ministers and Deputy Ministers for their dedication and efforts during their tenure in government.

Among the sacked Ministers are:

Finance: Ken Ofori-Atta

1. Interior: Hon. Ambrose Dery, MP
2. Health: Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu, MP
3. Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation: Hon. Dr. Kwaku Afriyie, MP
4. Information: Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, MP
5. Roads and Highways: Hon. Kwasi Amoako-Atta
6. Works and Housing: MP Hon. Francis Asenso Boakye
7. Gender, Children and Social Protection: MP Hon. Lariba Abudu, MP
8. Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development: Hon. Dan Botwe, MP
9. Sanitation and Water Resources: Hon. Freda Prempeh, MP
10. Tourism, Arts and Culture: Ibrahim Mohammed Awal
11. Greater Accra Region: Hon. Henry Quartey, MP
