Chef Faila is upset that A-list celebrities like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Samini, and others did not participate in her attempt at the longest cooking marathon by one individual, even though she must have had the support of several Ghanaian celebs who showed out to support her.
According to Chef Faila, she has been a faithful admirer and these artistes, promoting their works in her own ways and anticipated the gesture to have been reciprocated during her cook-a-thon.
In response to a fan who questioned why Shatta Wale had not shown up in Tamale to support her despite having earlier claimed that he would, she made the comments in an interview with Joy Prime.

“If it was something bad about the North, everyone would have been talking about it. Not a single big musician showed up for North on this project. Not Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Samini, etc.
“It was Kwabena Kwabena who passed through. There were a lot of expectations that we were going to see some of the artistes we support so much from this angle show up and support us. Believe me, if I see Stonebwoy or Shatta Wale’s song, I can sing it to amaze you, but nobody showed up for us, and so they owe us an apology,” Chef Faila lamented.

Social media users appear to be outraged by Chef Faila’s comments, with many criticizing her entitlement complex.
Her detractors claim that she is overreacting in interviews following her cook-a-thon by uttering a few unnecessary things.
Cook-a-thon expedition
On January 1, 2024, at midnight, Chef Faila set out on an ambitious expedition with the initial goal of reaching the finish line early on January 5. (See related article: After 227 hours, Ghanaian chef Faila breaks the world record in the cook-a-thon)
Though official certification from Guinness World Records is still waiting, it is thought that she easily exceeded the current record held by Irish Chef Alan Fisher (119 hours and 57 minutes) with a stunning 227 hours under her belt.
Several celebrities showed up to support the event, including Kwaku Manu, Sweet Adjeley, Nana Donkor Arthur, Yaw Dabo, and SDKDele.
