Diligent Blakk Rasta, a musician and radio host from Ghana, has expressed his disapproval of Chef Faila’s quest to set a new record for the longest cooking marathon.
Known for his frank thoughts, Blakk Rasta brought up the possible health risks associated with the cook-a-thon, which has been going on for more than 200 hours and attracted a lot of attention from the public.
In a video shared on Happyhome TV’s YouTube channel, Blakk Rasta stated, “Losing sleep more for more than three days is a suicide mission. I will not support that. You call it pushing the limit, but I call it a suicide mission. We pray that they do not lose their lives and that they learn a lesson that will help the whole nation.”

Blakk Rasta, who faced harsh criticism for criticizing Afua Asantewaa’s Cook-a-thon in the same way, brought attention to the growing popularity of marathons in Ghana.
Given the health risks involved with severe physical strain and sleep deprivation, he stated he has no intention of supporting the numerous marathons.
Held in Tamale’s Modern City Hotel, Chef Faila’s cook-a-thon has already exceeded the 200-hour mark and is expected to last a total of 240 hours.
