Former Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram constituency and Council of State member, ET Mensah, is expected to be laid to rest on Friday, January 5, 2024, at the State House forecourt.
This will pave the way for the public to pay their respects on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 5 to 10 pm at his residence in Prampram. The final funeral rites will follow the next day.
The Thanksgiving service in honour of ET Mensah will be held at the Methodist Church in Prampram on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
The late ET Mensah, who passed away at 77 in South Africa in October 2023 after battling illness, arrived in Ghana on October 10.
His extensive political career, spanning from January 1997 to January 2017, included serving as the Minister for Education and holding various government portfolios.
Known affectionately as ET Mensah, he leaves a behind legacy and is survived by his spouse and seven children.
