Cape Coast, Ghana – At a heartwarming dinner ceremony to mark the 25th Anniversary celebration of Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC-Eagles’ Temple) in Cape Coast on Monday, ATL FM, a staple of the Campus Broadcasting Services Centre at the University of Cape Coast was honoured for its unwavering dedication and service to the church.
The recognition, marking a unique intersection of media and faith-based community service, highlights the station’s remarkable commitment beyond the airwaves.
The event, held in the church’s premises, was attended by local dignitaries, church members, and the ATL FM team.
Reverend Dr. Ike Hawkson, who chaired the ceremony, lauded the station for its “invaluable support to the church.
A citation presented to ATL FM read “We extend our appreciation for being an integral part of Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC-Eagles’ Temple) in Cape Coast. Your partnership has been a catalyst of sharing of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ATL FM
ATL FM, known for its dynamic programming and deep community ties, has been a consistent voice in broadcasting church services, especially during the challenging times of the pandemic. Their efforts have helped connect the congregation virtually when physical gatherings were restricted.
In addition to airing regular church services, ATL FM has also been instrumental in publicising charity drives and community outreach programmes initiated by the church. Their coverage has significantly amplified the church’s impact in areas of need, ranging from supporting local food banks to organising youth development programmes.
Anniversary Dinner
In a splendid display of joy and gratitude, the CCC Eagles’ Temple in Cape Coast commemorated its 25th anniversary with a grand dinner, celebrating a quarter-century of faith, community service, and spiritual growth.
The milestone event brought together church members and guests from various walks of life to celebrate the Temple’s enduring legacy in the region.
The elegant dinner was a festive affair, replete with vibrant decorations, and an atmosphere of thanksgiving.
The night was not only about reflection but also about looking forward to the future with hope and determination.
Reverend Dr. Ike Hawkson, the Presiding Bishop of the CCC Eagles’ Temple, addressing the gathering indicated that the celebration is not for the growth of the church but the lives that have been transformed, the community we’ve built, and the faith that has grown exponentially over these 25 years.
He said the journey of the CCC Eagles’ Temple is one of resilience and faith.
Since its humble beginnings, the church has become a cornerstone of the Cape Coast community, offering various social and spiritual programmes. From youth empowerment initiatives to health drives and educational support, the church’s impact has been far-reaching.
Solidarity Messages
In a message to the church, Reverend Jepson Ahene of ICGC, Exalted Temple at Kakumdo stated that CCC has been a very big example to him.
“If you come to Cape Coast and you want a decent church, an excellent church, a church with the word, a church the worship, the church is CCC”, he said.
Rev. Ahene also commended Rev. Dr. Hawkson for his selfless nature and his guidance and counselling services.
