On Sunday night, Cardi B announced via an Instagram Live session that she and Offset were no longer together.
Rapper Thirty-One announced to her fan base that she has “been single for a minute now.” She said that she was hesitant to share the news because she was unsure of how to handle the public reaction.
The artist informed her followers that she was “curious for a new life, for a new beginning,” but she remained upbeat about her future despite her husband’s suspected infidelity with Chrisean Rock.
The rapper from Bodak Yellow went on to say that she was “excited” about this new chapter in her life.
Those with keen eyes saw that last week, Cardi (real name: Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) and Offset (real name: Kiari Kendrell Cephus), both 31 years old, unfollowed one another.
The rapper disclosed in a mysterious Instagram story post, ‘You know sometimes you just outgrow relationships.’
She added in the next story post, ‘I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings. I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST.’

She was spotted at a Balenciaga party in West Hollywood only a few days prior. She had just made her runway debut at the brand’s Fall 2024 Fashion Show a few hours prior. Offset published a cryptic post about an hour before Cardi did. He posted a scene from the iconic Scarface, starring Al Pacino, from 1983.
At the start of the clip, the main character is by himself in a large bathtub. “Hey, f**k you, man!” he exclaims. Who assembled this? Me. That person is it. In whom do I have faith? Me.
Uncertain if that was directed at Cardi, he hasn’t shared anything since his wife’s Instagram stories.
Throughout their turbulent relationship, the pair has been on the outside twice before.
It is said that in 2016, Cardi B and Offset connected at a “industry event.” In a November 2017 Twitter video, Cardi B reminisced, “He was very consistent.” He was quite eager to speak with me.
According to reports, they began dating in January 2017. They jointly released a song titled “Lick” in the same month.
