The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has launched an inquiry into allegations of corruption in government payroll.
Kissi Agyebeng, the Special Prosecutor, stated during a press conference that the investigations are being conducted in stages, beginning with the payroll of the Ghana Education Service and public health institutions.

The payroll of Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies would be the next step, he added.
He stated once more that the OSP has launched investigations into alleged corruption and corruption-related offenses in the sale of public lands since 1993.
