With Mary claiming that the Lynx Entertainment signee paid her 400 cedis, things may not have been going well between Kuami Eugene and her former house help.
Mary, who became somewhat well-known after the Angela hitmaker consistently praised her for her stewardship, stated in a recent interview that she was paid GHC 400 when she started working for Kuami Eugene, but that Kuami Eugene increased her pay by GHC100 every year.
“When I started working with him, he was paying me GhC400. However, after one year, he added Gh100 to it making my salary Gh500. The following year he did same until he recently sacked me.
“He sacked me because I returned late from an errand. Frankly speaking, I got home late that day. A lady friend of his asked me to deliver something and I think I got home after 12 am that day.

In response to the accusations, Kuami Eugene declared that “Nipa bi y3 cobra.”
“He asked me why I returned late, and I explained to him. He asked me if I knew Ghanaians will hold him responsible should something bad happen to me. He then gave me two options, either I pack my things or I will receive Gh400 as my Salary (after the increment),” she said.
Many of Kuami Eugene’s fans might be surprised by the most recent event, as he has always shown off his positive connection with his housekeeper.
Recall that in March of this year, Kuami Eugene disclosed that he was in a brother-sister relationship with Mary on the Sika Osei-hosted show Stripped by Sika.
He added that his mother had grown to adore his maid since she treated him with the same level of care that his mother does.
‘‘I’ve had a lot of people work for me, but no one has really stayed this long like Mary has,’’ he said that the time.
