Attending the Second International Gaming Conference 2023 in Nigeria was Ms. Anna Horma Miezah, Deputy Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA).
On behalf of Mr. Samuel Awuku, the Director-General of the NLA, who was attending equally significant events in Ghana, Ms. Anna Horma Miezah attended the occasion.
The National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) hosted a two-day conference at Victoria Island. Director General Mr. Lanre Gbajabiamila gave assurances that the Commission is dedicated to the agenda, promising to spare no effort in his declared determination to turn the lottery into a significant source of revenue for the nation.
DDG, Ms. Anna Horma Miezah, gave a provocative keynote talk on the topic of “Innovation and Disruption – Core Strategies for Success” at the conference’s opening.

The DDG emphasized the significance of utilizing technology and methods to maintain competitiveness in the gaming and lottery industries, citing the significance of the COVID-19 Pandemic in converting traditional retail channels into digital channels.
The Deputy Director General further urged the NLRC to incorporate Good Causes and Responsible Gaming into their activities, citing the positive effects of the NLA’s Good Causes Foundation, which has improved the lives of over 350,000 people.
Panel discussions with leaders and specialists in the field provided insights into real-world experiences and creative approaches to long-term success.
